Delete your Tapp account

You can delete your Tapp account yourself from inside the app. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.

Employees

1. Open Tapp and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Enter your password to confirm.

You can't delete your account while you are clocked in. Clock out first, then try again.

Company admins

1. Open Tapp and go to Settings.
2. Tap Close company account and submit the request.

Our support team closes the company within 30 days and emails you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your login, email address and phone number.
• Your push notification tokens.
• The GPS locations recorded when you clocked in and out.

What is kept

Your employer keeps your name and your clock-in, clock-out and break times. These are payroll records your employer is required to keep. After deletion they are no longer linked to a login, email address or phone number.

Closing a company account is different: it removes the company, every employee account, and all timesheets.

No longer have the app?

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.
